2025 Board Nominations Now Open to all Members!
CLOSING DEADLINE DATE FOR REMITTANCE: September 27, 2024
The Alberta Residential Landlord Association (ARLA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting on November 15th, 2024, at the Chateau Louis Conference Centre.
The Nominating Committee calls upon its members in good standing who are interested in sitting on the Board to submit an application. Board members should be able to participate in the events, seminars and luncheons and attend and participate in one board meeting each month. Board members are also asked to participate on one of the committees.
After the closing date, the nominating committee will assemble a ballot listing the slate of candidates standing for election.
If an election is required, the Nominating Committee will send out a ballot to the membership noting the names of Directors who wish to run for re-election and names of new candidates wishing to serve on the Board. Included in the Ballot will be biographical information on all candidates.
The Nomination Committee will consider applications received by individuals or company representatives and shall encompass membership tier levels (i.e., 1-9 units, 10-75 units, 76-250 units, 251-500 units, 501 plus units and Preferred Service Suppliers) to fill 7 Board vacancies. Members in good standing wishing to serve as a Director on the board please click on the link below and submit your nomination for committee consideration.

Board of Directors:
The planning, organizing, and controlling of the Association is vested in its Membership, which is represented by the Board of Directors. There shall not be less than eight and no more than 12 directors elected from among the Members at the Annual General Meeting.
Term of Office:
Each Director shall hold office for a term of two (2) years. One-half (1/2) of the Directors shall be elected each year to affect a staggered replacement plan and create continuity of management.
