Everyone likes to be recognized for a Job Well Done! Companies like to be recognized for a building that took time and care! It’s time to award these individuals and companies for what they do.
To celebrate the success and professionalism of our members in the rental housing industry, the Alberta Residential Landlord Association is proud to present the 2nd Annual ARLA Achievement Awards. These awards are an opportunity to recognize the rental housing and service providers of all shapes and sizes who are committed to providing high quality service.
This is your time to nominate someone or even yourself or your company recognizing what you/they have accomplished.
Our members are highly recognized in the Rental Industry. Nominations are now underway!

Property Manager of the Year
Site Employee of the Year
Rental Housing Provider of the Year
Rental Development/Renovation Project of the Year
Small Rental Housing Provider of the Year
Preferred Service Member of the year
Renovation Project of the Year under $100,000
Rental Industry Rookie of the Year
The Awards Committee will review all of the nominees in each category and choose a winner that will be announced at the 2nd Annual Landlord Resource Trade Show & ARLA Achievement Awards Luncheon on May 12, 2023.You can enter more than one nomination in a category, and also have one entry in every category.

This award recognizes a property manager nominated by their employer as someone who is professional, engaged, and demonstrates excellence in everything they do. The manager is someone who regularly exceeds expectations and contributes to the success of his/her building, team, and company.
This award recognizes an employee nominated by their employer as someone who is professional, customer service oriented, engaged, and demonstrates excellence in everything they do. This employee is someone who regularly exceeds expectations and contributes to the success of his/her building, team, and company. Leasing Agents, maintenance personnel, cleaners, on site managers etc. are examples for this award.
This award recognizes an outstanding rental housing provider who or which has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to the success of their operations, communities, and the industry as a whole.
Nominations are open to companies and individual landlords or property managers of all sizes. Nominations should endeavor to communicate how the rental housing provider has strengthened or contributed to the community, reduced environmental impacts, pivoted in the face of change, supported residents, or other accomplishments that demonstrate competence, leadership, and initiative.
Rental Development/Renovation Project of the Year This award recognizes a company which has developed a new rental housing project or has done substantial renovations, that demonstrates excellence, creativity, and quality. The award will be judged on the overall design and quality of the project and consideration will be given to creativity, curb appeal, amenities, environmental quality, use of space and functionality.
This award recognizes a small rental housing provider who has less than 250 units and has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and commitment to their tenants and community.
Nominations should endeavor to communicate how the rental housing provider has strengthened or contributed to the community, reduced environmental impacts, pivoted in the face of change, supported residents, or other accomplishments that demonstrate competence, leadership, and initiative.
This award recognizes a Service Member company that has demonstrated their commitment, exceptional customer service and expertise to the Association and its members.
Nominations should endeavor to communicate how they have assisted and impacted the rental housing industry. Should also communicate their strengths, community involvement, dealing with the impact of change, or other accomplishments that demonstrate competence, customer service and initiative.
This award recognizes a company which has done renovations to a building that are under $100,000, that demonstrate creativity and quality for minimal capital outlay. The award will be judged on the overall design, quality and cause and effect of the renovation. Consideration will be given to curb appeal, space and functionality.
Rental Industry Rookie of the Year This award recognizes an employee nominated by their employer who is less than 2 years in the industry and has shown great strides, energy, enthusiasm and dedication to the Rental Industry. They demonstrate professionalism and excellence in everything they do. This employee is someone who regularly exceeds expectations. This can be a leasing agent, accountant, property administrator, marketing person, maintenance, property manager, etc. They are that employee that has stepped up and shown passion for the Rental Industry.
